While we always recommend traditional flossing, if you’re someone who finds flossing to be difficult to do consistently or correctly, a Waterpik or other water flossers can be a helpful addition.

A water flosser uses a pressurized stream of water to rinse away food particles and remove plaque in hard-to-reach areas. For many people, it is easier and more comfortable to use than string floss alone.

✖ Can feel too intense for sensitive teeth

✔ Affordable and easy to replace
✔ No charging needed—great for travel
✔ Full control over pressure and technique
✖ No timer (easy to rush)
✖ Depends heavily on brushing technique
✖ May not remove as much plaque if used incorrectly

At the end of the day, the best toothbrush is the one you’ll use consistently and correctly!
