An 84-year-old female patient presented for RCT on #5 with a diagnosis of necrotic pulp and symptomatic apical periodontitis. CBCT axial views revealed complex, calcified canals. Using the EDGE PRO laser in water mode, we successfully cleared the calcification, treated the apical periodontitis, and completed a one-visit RCT. Tooth #5 was part of a recently fabricated RPD, losing it was not an option!”
