💙 Every now and then, we get a little creative.

If you've had your teeth cleaned at Canyon View Dentistry, you may not have noticed one of the small changes we've made to help create a more comfortable experience.

One of our patients shared that having the ultrasonic cleaning equipment positioned behind the chair made them feel uneasy because they couldn't see what was happening. Since helping patients feel comfortable and reducing dental anxiety is one of our highest priorities, we listened.

Our hygiene team had also been looking for a better way to organize and position their equipment, but there wasn't a product on the market that solved the problem. So, our Office Manager designed one.

Using our R&D CAD software and printer, we created a custom mounting system that relocates the ultrasonic scaler and instruments to the chair's swing arm, placing everything within the patient's view while also improving ergonomics for our hygienists.

It's a small change, but sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference for our patient and our team.

Most importantly, this improvement happened because one patient spoke up.
