We are a growing privately owned single doc practice looking for a motivated dental assistant to join our wonderful team.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic and experienced EDDA, comfortable with direct patient care, and experience with basic ordering, equipment maintenance, etc.

We are looking for somebody to to start soon 4 dy/wk, Monday-Thursday

Benefits and pay negotiable based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients in the dental office, perform COVID screening, review health history, etc
Prepare patients for treatment
Set up operatory for tx, instruments, equipment and materials
Assist the dentist chairside

Sterilization
Provide post-operative care instructions
Cleaning and stocking rooms
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist the admin team when needed
Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Make impressions, pour models, bite registration, etc
Fabricate provisional crowns
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a major plus
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Monitoring and tracking lab cases
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EDDA)
CBCT and PrimeScan knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with OpenDental and Dexis is helpful
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
