Your breath speaks before you do 🦷

It's the first thing people notice, often before a smile even happens. The good news? Fresh breath isn't complicated, it just takes the right habits done consistently.

Swipe through for 5 simple ways to keep your breath (and your whole mouth) healthy, straight from Dr. K:

1️⃣ Follow the 2x2 rule. Brush twice a day for 2 full minutes, no shortcuts. Focus on those back teeth and choose a brush and toothpaste with the ADA seal.

2️⃣ Brush your tongue. Most odor-causing bacteria live there, not on your teeth. A tongue scraper makes it even easier.

3️⃣ Floss daily. Your toothbrush physically can't reach everywhere, especially between teeth where bacteria love to hide.

4️⃣ Clean your retainer and mouthguard. If it sits in your mouth, it needs the same care as your teeth do.

5️⃣ Drink water. Hydration keeps saliva flowing, and saliva is your mouth's natural defense against bacteria and dryness.
