💙 A Case Close to Dr. Mooney’s Heart 💙

Dr. Austin and Dr. Mooney share a genuine passion for giving back and making a meaningful difference in the community they are so grateful to serve.

Each year, Dr. Jessica Mooney chooses one special case as an opportunity to give back to someone in our community. This year, that person was Keith.

From the moment she heard his story and had the opportunity to meet him, Keith touched Dr. Mooney’s heart. His strength, kindness, and the journey he has walked made selecting him an easy decision.

Dentistry is about so much more than teeth. Sometimes, it’s about giving someone another reason to smile during a season when that smile may mean more than we could ever know.

Being able to care for Keith and play even a small part in his story has been incredibly rewarding. It was truly an honor and a privilege for Dr. Mooney and our Austin Dentistry team to treat him.

We are feeling extra spoiled today at Austin Dentistry! 🦷💙

A huge thank you to Carolina’s Center for Oral & Facial Surgery for the delicious cookie cake, and to one of our sweet patients for surprising us with cupcakes! 🧁🍪

And as if that wasn’t enough, Dr. Austin treated the team to Starbucks too!

We love seeing local dentists come together for a shared purpose, providing the very best care for our community!

Dr. Austin spent time in Nashville mentoring with Implant Pathway / Hope Smiles. It made the experience even better to have Dr. Tallent from Dedmond & Tallent Dentistry, a fellow local dentist, attending the course as well.

At Austin Dentistry, we believe continuing education is an important part of giving our patients the high-quality care they deserve. Dentistry and implant treatment are always advancing, and we’re proud of Dr. Austin for continuing to learn, teach, and grow alongside other professionals, including those right here in our own community.

Different practices, but the same hometown and the same goal: keep learning, keep improving, and bring the very best dentistry back home to Lincolnton.

We missed Dr. Austin this Wednesday and Thursday, but don’t worry, he returns on Monday!

Dr. Austin traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, to mentor fellow dental professionals through Implant Pathway.

At Austin Dentistry, we believe growth isn’t just about continuing to learn, it’s also about sharing your knowledge and investing in others. Dr. Austin is passionate about helping other dentists strengthen their skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow their confidence in implant dentistry.

This past weekend was a wonderful reminder of why we love serving our community.

We were honored to volunteer with the Baptist Dental Bus, helping provide much-needed dental care to those who may not otherwise have access. Being able to use our skills to make a difference is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

We also had the privilege of sponsoring the Miss Congeniality Award at the Apple Queen Pageant. Congratulations to all of the contestants for representing our community with grace, confidence, and kindness. We were proud to recognize the contestant who truly embodied the spirit of friendship, compassion, and encouragement.

At Austin Dentistry, we believe that caring for our community extends far beyond the walls of our office. Thank you to everyone who makes opportunities like these possible—we’re grateful to be part of such an incredible community!

🇺🇸 In honor of Memorial Day, our office will be closed Monday, May 25th as we take time to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Memorial Day is observed annually on the last Monday in May in the United States.

We are incredibly thankful for those who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy every day.
