Doctor spotlight⚡️: Dr. Moody!

Dr. Moody is from Lincoln and loves having the opportunity serve the city she grew up in! Her exposure to the dental field started early on, with her dad, Dr. Haugen, being an orthodontist in Central and Western Nebraska. She recalls many summers as a little girl spent playing dentist at her dad’s office when he wasn’t able to find a sitter! She feels blessed to live out her childhood dream today.

Dr. Moody studied Biology and Chemistry at Nebraska Wesleyan University and graduated in 2017. While completing her undergrad, she worked part-time here at Oceans Dental, helping assist and work the front desk. Dr. Moody then went on to complete dental school at the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry. After earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in May 2022, she rejoined the Oceans Dental team as a dentist –something she’d always dreamed of!

Dr. Moody has a passion for quality, comprehensive patient care, and will always put your needs and comfort first. Dr. Moody is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and is excited to offer Botox and similar products as both therapeutic and esthetic treatment options!

Dr. Moody lives in Lincoln with her husband, Paul, her cat, Lennon, and her dog, Winston. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy traveling, hosting friends, and working on home projects together!

Doctor spotlight⚡️: Dr. Travers!

Dr. Travers grew up in Oak Park, IL. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, Dr. Travers graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2004. She subsequently completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She returned to the Chicago area to practice dentistry for the next 7 years, including working alongside her brother who is also a dentist. During that time, she served as President of the Chicago Academy of General Dentistry and as an AGD delegate representing the state of Illinois. In her career, Dr. Travers has always valued providing care for individuals in underserved areas and has participated in dental mission trips to Haiti and Ecuador, as well as volunteering at the local homeless shelter.

Dr. Travers and her husband moved to Lincoln in 2012 and she has proudly been a part of Oceans Dental since 2013. She appreciates the “small-town feel” of Lincoln and truly enjoys building relationships with patients and providing dental care for the entire family. Dr. Travers takes her time listening to each patient’s individual treatment goals to provide gentle, high quality, and personalized dental care. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. She continues to grow professionally and stays current with the latest dental advancements by regularly attending Continuing Education seminars.

In her free time, Dr. Travers enjoys spending time with her husband, chocolate lab, and 4 young children. She has a passion for traveling, exploring the outdoors, reading, playing golf, and attending UNL athletic events. Dr. Travers and her family are members of Christ Lincoln Church.

Doctor spotlight⚡️: the owner!

Dr. Bruce Condello graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1988. After completing his degree, Dr. Condello entered private practice and has served the Lincoln community since that time.

Dr. Condello also worked for eight years as a contractual dentist for the Lincoln-Lancaster county health department, gaining valuable experience.

In his spare time, Dr. Condello is a private fisheries consultant, and is a nationally published author and public speaker on fishing and fisheries-related subjects. He has held multiple world line-class fishing records and loves to go fishing in his spare time. 🐠

Dr. Condello has been married to his wife Marlene since 1991 and has two amazing daughters!

He looks forward to seeing you!

Unfortunately the 15 inches of snow we received in the last 20 hours will make it impossible to effectively staff our office today. As the week progresses we will be making attempts to reschedule all of today’s originally scheduled patients. Thanks for understanding!
