I've never had a cavity in my life. I also have never been one to floss my teeth faithfully. Well, I was in for a wake up call when Yahia told me, "Bill, if you don't start flossing, you are going to start losing your teeth in another 5-10 years."

Fortunately, he is a master at his craft and I could barely feel a thing as he was cleaning my teeth and root scaling and planing (which is essentially a really intense, deep clean below the gum line that typically can be painful!). He motivated me to start developing better habits, which will lead to me keeping my teeth. Of course, I'm all for that!

How he interacted with me got me thinking about how I interact with my clients. Yahia was upfront and honest; he didn't sugarcoat it. I'm typically the same, and I know that, occasionally, I can rub people the wrong way because of it.

I'm upfront and honest because I want my clients to know what to expect in the home buying and selling process. There will be challenges, obstacles, and wild cards, but I am here to help them navigate the process and set realistic expectations. I might not always say what someone wants to hear, but I promise to be honest and give them my expert opinion.
