As Easter approaches, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for trusting me with your care. It is truly a privilege to serve you—not only as your dentist, but as someone who genuinely values the friendship and the conversations that happen around the dental chair.
This season always brings reflection for me. Easter is more than a holiday—It is the greatest news in the history of the world… It's literally earth shattering! The moment the second person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ himself, was born, the trajectory of the hope of humans was turned upward, and because of his life, death and resurrection, that trajectory now lands fully as a rock, solid, absolutely certain hope for many.
Jesus Christ came into the world, lived a perfect life, and willingly gave Himself on the cross for our sins. However, Satan, hell, and death could not keep the author of life down. He rose from the grave, victorious over our greatest enemy… Death. He now lives forevermore, offering forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope to all who trust in Him.
In a world that often feels uncertain, Easter assures us of something unshakable: for those of us in Christ Jesus, we can be assured that we are reconciled to the God of this universe, and will one day be heirs of the new heavens and new earth with his Son.
Dentistry and ministry have similar parallels. I'm reminded when I look in the mouth, that things fall apart, cavities happen, teeth fall out, and restoration is never perfect. I try my best to restore the mouth to good health. I see the same in life… Life is tough because we've all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Marriages struggle. Life is not perfect and relationships aren't always reconciled the way we hope. I don't personally have a fix for life like I sometimes do in dentistry. But I know who does. One thing is certain ... Christ alone is the only one who can restore our lives, make us new, and give us a hope that will last until he returns.
My prayer for you this Easter is that you would know that hope personally—the peace that comes from being reconciled to God and the joy of new life found in Him.
Thank you again for allowing me to be part of your life. If there’s ever a way I can serve you beyond the dental chair, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Wishing you and your family a joyful and blessed Easter!
