Teeth Whitening + Gingival Recession โœจ

Gingival recession, also known as gum recession or receding gums, refers to the loss of gum tissue from the teeth, exposing the roots underneath.

These areas commonly appear darker or more yellow due to the color difference between enamel and cementum.

If you have receding gums, these areas may remain darker even after a whitening session. This is because whitening gel should not be applied to exposed root surfaces due to the increased risk of pain or severe sensitivity.

I may also require dental clearance from your dentist before proceeding with a whitening session to ensure that whitening is appropriate for you.

This client originally booked a half butterfly design, but during her consultation, we decided a different design would be a better fit for her smile. โœจ

We talked about her personal style, the look she wanted to achieve, and the fact that pink is her favorite color. While she loved the butterfly inspiration, I also considered her tooth anatomy, available surface area, and how the design would look and feel over time.

Because of the shape of her tooth and her fuller lips, a butterfly wing would have extended too far and had a greater chance of rubbing against her lip. This could have made it less comfortable for her over time. My priority is always to recommend a design thatโ€™s beautiful, comfortable, and practical, not just one that looks good in a photo.

Instead, we chose a delicate triple stack with light pink crystals that gave her a soft pop of her favorite color while complementing her smile beautifully.

Every smile is unique, which is why every consultation is personalized. I donโ€™t simply recreate inspiration photos. I thoughtfully tailor each design to your smile, your anatomy, your comfort, and your personal style. ๐Ÿค

September was a little extra special this year. ๐Ÿค

I started the month by celebrating my clients with my birthday special, because what better way to celebrate another year of life than by sharing the glow with the women who support my business?

And then I decided to take my own advice and pour a little back into myself, too.

A month filled with self-care, supporting some amazing women-owned businesses, celebrating my mom, making memories with my built-in best friend, and ending my birthday surrounded by family, flowers, cake, and a heartwarming cookout.

It was a reminder that celebrating doesnโ€™t always have to be big. Sometimes itโ€™s a facial, a Starbucks run with your mom, a concert with your sister, a quiet moment for yourself, or simply being surrounded by the people who love you most.

September, thank you for all the memories. ๐Ÿค

When Jessica first came in, she wasnโ€™t quite sure what she wanted. She originally pictured just one or two gems, so we took some time during her consultation to explore different options and create a design that felt right for her.
