Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant II to join our dental team at the Lewisville location. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, work well in a team setting, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and welcoming clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist dentists with a variety of procedures, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care
•Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
•Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and assist with diagnostic procedures
•Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
•Accurately document patient care in electronic health records
•Maintain supply inventory and assist with ordering as needed
•Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
•Assist with administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling and follow-ups
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program
Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant preferred
Current CPR certification
X-ray certification as required by North Carolina regulations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with dental software (e.g, epic)
