For the safety of our patients:

"In order to protect staff and preserve personal protective equipment and patient care supplies, as well as expand available hospital capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that dental facilities postpone elective procedures, surgeries, and non-urgent dental visits, and prioritize urgent and emergency visits and procedures now and for the coming several weeks. This aligns with recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA) to postpone non-emergency and elective dental procedures, that all non-essential dental exams and procedures be postponed until further notice."

We will be working modified hours as we continue to "Flatten the Curve" with this ongoing pandemic. If you feel your dental concern is an emergency, please call 910-769-1605, we will be checking the messages periodically and there is also an emergency number on the voicemail for patients of record to utilize in the case of an emergency.

With the severity of the coronavirus (COVID-19), there are precautions that we are taking for our patients and as employees of Austin Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to keep everyone healthy.

Our high standard of disinfection and sterilization is continuing as protocol throughout the entire building- operatories, patient waiting areas, patient consult rooms- AOMS is a very safe place to be due to the processes being taken and following the CDC guidelines.

Hospital Grade disinfectant is used with all sanitizing. There is hand sanitizer provided for everyone throughout the building.

Employees are washing their hands before and after seeing each patient.

We do have deeper cleanings throughout the office multiple times a week and at the end of each work day.

We have discussed with our team that if they are sick or feeling sick, they are to stay home.
