Leawood Cosmetic and Family Dentistry is pleased to welcome Dr. Smith to our team!

Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Dr. Smith earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care through the use of advanced technology and evidence-based techniques. With a particular interest in restorative dentistry, Dr. Smith finds great fulfillment in helping patients regain confidence through their renewed smiles.

Dr. Smith’s philosophy of care begins with listening. He believes every patient deserves to feel heard and comfortable, and he strives to create a welcoming environment that fosters trust and long-term relationships.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active on the golf course, and planning his upcoming wedding in May 2026 with his fiancée. He looks forward to meeting our wonderful patients and helping each one achieve optimal oral health and beautiful, lasting smiles.

MEET OUR TEAM!

Dr. Dan graduated from UMKC dental school but is originally from St. Louis. He loves the KC area, especially the Sporting KC soccer team! He also loves trying out all the restaurants to find the best food in town.

Dr. Dan DuHadway, like Dr. Kelly Thomas, offers the most up to date treatment options including Invisalign. He joined our practice with Invisalign experience and we are excited to include this state of the art technology at Leawood Cosmetic and Family Dentistry.

Kelly thomas and her staff are the best. They always meet me with a smile and true concern for any dental problems I’m experiencing. I would not go to another dentist as long as this young lady is there for me.
