Why does age 7 matter in orthodontics?
Around this age, children typically have a mix of baby and permanent teeth, giving an orthodontist an opportunity to see how their teeth, bite, and jaws are developing.
An early evaluation doesn't necessarily mean treatment needs to start right away.
In many cases, it simply gives us the chance to monitor growth and determine the best time to step in if treatment is eventually needed.
Not sure if it’s time for your child to see an orthodontist? An early evaluation can give you answers and help us keep an eye on their growing smile.
