I Came for a Cleaning, Stayed for the Vibes - by Shannon R.
I had my regular cleaning yesterday at the De Soto location and I’m almost annoyed by how much I liked it because now I have zero excuse to dread dentist appointments anymore.
The office was beautiful, calm, and somehow managed to feel both brand new and genuinely welcoming from the moment I walked in. Huge shoutout to Liz at the front desk, who greeted me like I was a longtime regular instead of someone wandering in clutching insurance information and mild dental anxiety. Friendly, organized, funny, and genuinely warm. She set the tone for the entire visit.
And then there was Sidney, my hygienist, who was absolutely fantastic. Kind, funny, thorough, and somehow capable of making someone enjoy having sharp objects in their mouth for an hour. Truly a rare talent.
Sidney explained everything clearly, checked in throughout the appointment, and made the whole experience feel more like catching up with a very competent friend than going to the dentist. My teeth left feeling emotionally supported and medically optimized. Sidney deserves a raise, and my teeth agree.
The entire team made the experience seamless, welcoming, and surprisingly enjoyable. Lawrence has been my usual office for years, but this visit absolutely earned a permanent spot in the rotation.
