Happy Retirement! 💙

After almost six years of welcoming our patients and families with a smile, today we celebrate a very special member of our PDG family as she begins her well-deserved retirement!

For nearly six years, she has been one of the first friendly faces our families see when they walk through our doors. But to us, she has been so much more than the lady at check-in. She has been a coworker, a friend, a familiar face, and an important part of what makes PDG feel like home.

We are incredibly grateful for the years, laughs, memories, and countless families she has welcomed along the way. While we are going to miss seeing her behind the front desk, we are so excited for everything this next chapter holds for her.

Please help us wish her a very happy retirement and thank her for almost six wonderful years with our PDG family!

You will be missed more than you know!

Fall is officially here, and we’re starting the season with a little dental humor!

What did the pie say to the dentist?
“I need a filling!” 😂

Happy First Day of Fall from all of us at PDG Laurel! We hope your season is filled with lots of smiles…and maybe a little pie, too.

Need to schedule your child’s next dental visit? Give us a call—we’d love to see their smile this fall!

We couldn’t let the day end without giving a shoutout to the people who keep us connected!

Happy National IT Professionals Day to our amazing IT team! From fixing the things we swear we didn’t break 😂 to keeping all three of our offices running smoothly behind the scenes, we’re so thankful for everything you do!

PDG definitely wouldn’t run the same without you. Thank you for always coming to our rescue!

And if you’re looking for an IT team that’s always just a call away, we can’t recommend ICS enough! Give them a call—you’ll be in great hands! 💙

We are ecstatic to have Dr. Blakeney join our clinic! She’ll be the smiling face you’ll see on Thursday in Laurel! 🪥🦷🤩

The Pediatric Dental Group is proud to announce that Chauncey Blakeney, DMD has joined our practice!

Dr. Chauncey Blakeney is a native of Mize, Mississippi. She earned her Associate Degree from Jones College and her Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi College before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2018.

Following dental school, Dr. Blakeney practiced general dentistry for six years, providing comprehensive care to patients across all age groups. During this time, she developed a strong interest in pediatric dentistry and chose to pursue advanced specialty training in the field.

Dr. Blakeney completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she received extensive training in preventive, restorative, and behavior-guided dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.

Dr. Blakeney resides in Petal with her husband, Chris, and their three children, Nolan, Stetson, and Charley Kate. They enjoy spending time outside and attending Southern Miss athletic events.

Join us in welcoming Dr. Blakeney to all of our locations as she continues the tradition of providing excellent dental care to the children and families we are privileged to serve. She will be accepting new patients at our Petal and Laurel locations.
