Happy Halloween smilers :) Remember to examine your kid's treats before they sink their pretty pearls into them. Try to avoid 'sticky' candy (like: caramel, thick-taffy, etc) to prevent sweets from getting stuck deep into the crevices of the teeth , areas which are easily missed when brushing.

Always have your child brush their teeth after eating sweets, but if they can't, you can do the following until you can:
1. Rinse your kiddo's mouth with water
2. Have him or her eat candy alongside a meal
3. Chew sugar-free gum to help salivate away the excess sugars

If you'd like the next step to tooth-decay prevention, we at TDI can provide sealants and apply them to your kiddo's teeth grooves, thus preventing the enamel from further erosion when bacteria eats the leftover sugars.

We hope you have a super fun Halloween! :D
