✨ What an incredible orthodontic transformation for Transformation Tuesday! ✨

This beautiful patient started with an underbite, a crossbite, narrow arches, and limited space for her tongue. Through orthodontic treatment with an expander and customized treatment plan, we were able to:

🦷 Broaden and develop her arches
🦷 Correct her underbite and crossbite
🦷 Create more space for her tongue
🦷 Improve how her teeth and bite fit together
🦷 Support better airway development
🦷 Create a broader, more noticeable smile display

Orthodontic treatment is about so much more than straight teeth—it can improve the bite, function, arch development, and overall balance of the smile. She was gorgeous before, and now her beautiful smile shines even brighter! 🤍

Are you ready to see what orthodontic treatment could do for your smile? Come see Dr. Allison Tomlin for your personalized smile consultation at Mountain West Dental Specialists! ✨

Welp a dentist’s worst nightmare happened . Camp called and told me that Hawkins broke his front tooth on the playground 😭. My mama heart is breaking but luckily this kid has dentists for parents 💪😂 and we fixed it. 🦷🪥🥰 Special thanks to Dr. Keaton for fixing his tooth and our MWDS team for being so great. Now we just let it heal and see if it needs future work or a crown. I’m not sure if I can handle more injuries. To all the boy moms out there I see you and I feel you haha 😵‍💫🫠💙

💜 June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month. 💜

This month holds a special place in our hearts.

Several years ago, I lost my mom, Anne Hawkins Findley, to Alzheimer’s disease. While time has passed, not a day goes by that I don’t think of her or wish my children had more time with their incredible grandma.

This year, our entire Mountain West Dental Specialists family proudly wore these purple shirts in her honor and in support of the millions of individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s. It was a simple way to remember someone we love while helping bring awareness to a disease that impacts so many.

Alzheimer’s steals memories, but it can never take away the love, lessons, and legacy our loved ones leave behind.

If you have someone in your life who has been affected by Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, know that you are not alone. Let’s continue to support research, caregivers, and one another as we work toward a future with better treatments—and, one day, a cure.

Mom, this one’s for you. We love you and miss you every day. 💜

☀️🌊 All our patients keep asking us where we’re going for summer vacation… 😂

And we’re over here like:

🐋 “This is the only water we’ll be seeing this summer…” 🤣🌊🦷☀️🫠

Because summer = our BUSIEST season ☀️✨
While everyone’s off to beaches, cruises, lakes, and tropical vacations… we’re here taking care of all our amazing patients and keeping those smiles summer-ready 😎🦷

Honestly though? One of our favorite parts of the day is hearing about all the fun trips and adventures our patients are going on or have planned 💕✈️🌴

So keep the vacation stories coming while we live vicariously through all of you 😂☀️

Call to schedule your cleaning, exam or smile consultation during your summer break and tell us where you’ll be going this summer 😎☀️🦷😘
