Good morning. Our team at Shields Family Dentistry is so sad to relay the sudden passing of our office manager Felicia. Some our patients have asked how they can help so we have started a Go Fund Me to help her family with her funeral expenses. If you can donate anything, her family would very much appreciated it.

Felicia was with us for 7 years and contributed so much to our practice and our patients. She will be and is missed!

Exciting news for our dental family!

We have FINALLY found another dentist we love and wholeheartedly trust to help care for our treasured patients in our rapidly expanding practice, and it is none other than one of our closest friends! His approach to dentistry and patient care is almost identical to Dr. Shields, so you and your loved ones will be in caring hands with either doctor.

Hello to our amazing dental family and friends!! Hope this post finds you healthy and safe.

We have been mandated by the Nevada Dental Board to close for routine, non-emergency treatment until April 30. For everyone that was scheduled in April, we will be calling you soon to cancel the appointment if we have not already.

Dental emergencies still happen despite global pandemics, and Dr. Shields is always available to help if you are in pain or have an immediate issue.
Call his cell at 702-302-6449 to discuss your concerns, and if he decides it is necessary, we will schedule a time to meet at either office to handle your emergency.

As soon as we can get you rescheduled to get your dental health back on track, we will! Keep up with your dental hygiene in the meantime!
And most importantly, stay safe for yourself and your loved ones, and we look forward to seeing you all again on the other side of this crisis.

We are saddened to hear that two of our valued patients, a mother and daughter, that we have known for many years were shot in last night's tragedy, one critically. Another patient watched her friend get shot that was standing next to her. Our hearts go out to these friends we cherish, to everyone directly affected, and to our entire community. Prayers for peace and recovery for all.
