In light of Laredo’s current water boil notice, we want to assure our patients that at Reyes Family Dental we use distilled water, free of impurities and bacteria, for all of our treatment rooms and sterilization area. This is a practice that we have always used, and will continue to use, to keep our patients and staff safe.

The rumors are true! 📣 We are ecstatic to announce that we’re moving! 📦

Our new location will be located at The Shoppes at Uptown, at the corner of Fenwick Dr. and Bartlett Ave.
📍 1119 Fenwick Dr. Ste 102

Our Saunders location will close as of Thursday, October 17th at 12:00pm and will remain closed on Friday, October 18th. We will no longer be seeing patients at this location.

Our new location will open and we will begin seeing patients on October 21, 2024! See you there!

In honor of National Dental Hygiene Month 🪥, we asked our team what their favorite dental products are and they did not gate-keep! Here are 6 of our favorite dental products to elevate your oral care routine:

1. Electric Toothbrush 🪥 - For a thorough clean every time. Electric toothbrushes will give you more rotations per minute, giving you a far better clean versus a manual toothbrush.

2. Water Flosser 💦 - Water flossers are great at effectively removing food and plaque from between teeth and along the gumline, which can help prevent gum disease and cavities. They are easier to use for some people, especially those with braces or dental work. Additionally, water flossers can reach areas that traditional floss might miss, providing a thorough clean with less effort.

3. Cocofloss 🥥 - Imagine flossing your teeth with a loofah. Cocofloss is a great floss that will remove food and plaque from in between your teeth. It is also infused with coconut oil, making it antimicrobial.

4. Therabreath 🌱- We might not always recommend mouthwash, but when we do it’s Therabreath. Alcohol based mouthwashes can cause issues with your gut health and can potentially lead to cancer. Therabreath has a high pH making it less acidic than other mouthwashes and does not contain alcohol, making it a great alternative for a fresh breath feeling.

5. Tongue Scraper 👅 - Incorporating a tongue scraper into your daily oral hygiene routine can complement brushing and flossing effectively. Using a tongue scraper can improve your oral hygiene, reduce the risk of infection, enhance your taste sensation, and give you fresher breath.

6. Sensodyne/Pronamel 🦷 - If you were to ask our hygienist what her favorite toothpaste is, she’ll say pronamel. These two toothpastes are great at preventing sensitivity, cavities, and can even protect our teeth from acid wear.
