As an orthodontist, I get to enjoy the unique experience of watching my patients grow from the time I first examine them which could be age 7 or even younger to the time they finish treatment and 2 years of post-treatment observation in retainers, often as they are leaving for college or beginning a new career. And since retainers are forever, I also enjoy the opportunity to to see them years later and find out what happened in the next chapter. It’s exciting to hear about their adventures and accomplishments . In recent years, I have begun to have an even more exciting privilege which is to have the patients I treated at teenagers return to bring their own kids for treatment. That is the most wonderful compliment a patient could give! And it is always fun to take the walk back down memory lane with my former patients Feeling so blessed. I am so grateful for these opportunities and look forward giving my all to achieve excellent results and beautiful smiles for this next generation.
