Michigan has a NEW law requiring children entering kindergarten (or their first year of school) to have a dental oral health assessment completed before school starts! ✨

This law, known as the Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment (KOHA), officially went into effect starting with the 2024–2025 school year. The goal is to help kids start school healthy, confident, and ready to learn! 💙
