Dear Healthy Dental Patients, Family, and Friends,

We hope this message finds you and your family in good health. Maryland has amended the stay-at-home order and dental offices are now approved to provide elective procedures. Based on Governors orders and Department of health recommendation we are back for routine dental care from 05/18/2020 (Monday)

While many things have changed, our commitment to your safety has not. We have been working diligently over the last few weeks to implement expanded infection control protocols to assure safety of our patients and team members. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
- Our office will communicate with you to ask some screening questions while confirming your appointment. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
- We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and Treatment rooms in the office for you to use as needed.
- You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

Our offices now have also Sneeze Barriers throughout our Front Desk area for better protection.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. In our ongoing effort to safeguard the health of our entire community during this challenging time, we will be exercising maximum social distancing; resulting in the suspension of regularly scheduled clinical care activities beginning Friday, March 20th,our office will remain closed till March 29th 2020 and will reopen on March 30th 2020 (Monday)

Dear Patients, Families and Friends,

In recent weeks, there has been concern over the outbreak of COVID-19 in our community. At Healthy Dental, our patients health and safety is always our number one priority.

Our office has always exceeded the standards necessary to prevent transmission of infectious disease as recommended by the CDC. Before and after each patient, all hard surfaces (such as chairs, countertops, drawer handles, lights, etc.) are cleaned and disinfected. All dental instruments are sterilized to standard of care. Our dentists and our entire staff follow strict personal protective equipment guidelines (PPE) as outlined by OSHA. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizers are available for patient use in every treatment operatory. Patient goggles are always wiped with disinfectant.

We want to reassure our patients that our office offers a safe and clean environment to continue routine dental care. However, we politely ask patients to reschedule their dental appointment if they have flu-like symptoms, such as cough, fever, or cold.
