The reason I’m an advocate for affordable healthcare is that individuals are suffering from poor oral health due to inadequate access to affordable dental care. This denture, which required repair in our laboratory, is a poignant example. It is distressing to consider that people are compelled to wear such appliances due to financial constraints, rather than by personal choice. Frankly, I am disheartened that our priorities often focus on profitability rather than making a meaningful impact. If this situation does not improve soon, it will be a stark indictment of our collective values.

Hello Superior Family,
A dental technician and colleague of mine passed away last month. His untimely death was surely a devastating event. However, his family practically donated his ENTIRE inventory of denture teeth to me!!!
In the midst of darkness, light will find a way to shine through!

Hello guys and girls,
As we approach this upcoming Memorial Day, I am deeply moved to speak out.
Veterans benefits and assistance has been slashed/ reduced and altogether eliminated in recent days, thus , promoting an outcry from Vets and civilians alike. Let’s NEVER forget the ultimate sacrifice that many made, when this nation called. Without hesitation, many men and women fought side by side to defend this nation’s freedom and democracy. Night after night, we sleep in perfect peace while some guard the walls against enemies that seek to destroy. Let us remember them this holiday but also continue to reward them with our highest esteem and honor.
To help them, let’s reward their service and not belittle their courage and bravery. Don’t allow “contentment “ to seep in and erase the value these men and women so deserve.
Keep in mind that the “ call to arms” will ring out again and if THEY don’t respond… who will. Thank a veteran today for their service and remember… there were few that gave some and some who gave ALL!

Hi Fam, I had the privilege of working with a patient that requested “ particulars” with his new set of teeth.
1) He stated he wanted the best teeth used… I placed PhysioSelect upper /lower Anteriors from Candulor. All Posteriors were BonSelect , also Candulor.
2) Patient requested to have a small diastema between 8 and 9 to give a natural look … something he had when he had natural teeth.
3) Patient wanted to insert a little “ bling”, therefore , I placed a 3/4 crown on tooth number 6. ( notice the gold only encapsulated the mesial, distal and incisal edges and disappeared into the cervical. Ordered the gold from Starlight Manufacturers ( www.starlightmfginc.com).
3) Lastly, I tinted the processing acrylic with Aesthetic Intensiv (07/Dark Shadow shade) from Candulor.
4) Processed dentures with the Ivobase Injection System… end result?

Special shout out to this patient for taking time out and coming to the lab and allowing me to share this moment with him and all of you. I don’t always get to see my work with the patient wearing the dentures… so this was awesome !!!
