Community connections are at the heart of what we do at Northstar Dental. 🤍

A few members of our Northstar team recently spent time with the residents of Solana in Lakewood for a meet and greet. And, of course, we brought some snacks along!

It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce ourselves, answer questions, and share a little about what makes Northstar Dental different.

We believe great dental care starts with **relationships**. One of our core values is taking the time to truly get to know our patients, understand what matters to them, and provide comprehensive care from a team they know and trust.

We loved getting to know more of our Lakewood neighbors and sharing what it means to have Northstar as your dental home.

💙We really do have the most wonderful patients. 💙

Recently, one of our longtime patients learned they had a credit on their account and asked if they could donate it to another patient who could use a little help. And then they went one step further....rounding up the amount to give even more.

It was such a simple, incredibly thoughtful act of generosity, and one that truly touched our entire team.

Moments like this remind us just how special the Northstar Dental community really is. We are so fortunate to have patients who show this kind of kindness and generosity toward others.

Needless to say the team was more than happy to take a break for a little kitten therapy!

A few cuddles, and plenty of smiles. We think they can come back anytime! 🥰

Happy 24-Year Anniversary, Ang! 🎉

For the past 24 years, Andrea ("Ang") has been an incredible part of the Northstar Dental family. Over the years, she's truly done it all, from sterilization technician to dental assistant, treatment coordinator, and now our resident insurance guru, helping countless patients navigate their benefits with care and expertise.

A couple of fun facts:
✨ Ang started at the office just two weeks before Dr. Adler!
🎨 She's also an incredibly talented artist!

Watching fish swim has been shown to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and create a peaceful environment—perfect for helping you settle in before your appointment.

Next time you're here, take a moment to enjoy our fish tank... and see if you can find our oldest fish! Connie brought him from our previous office over 20 years ago, and he's still part of the Northstar family. He usually prefers hiding from the younger fish. 😊

At Northstar Dental, we celebrate our CANI (Constant and Never-Ending Improvement) Coin every other week! 🪙✨

This week, our amazing Sam was nominated by her fellow team members for always working hard, going above and beyond, and consistently stepping in to help both the front and back office teams.

Today is National Toothbrush Day! 🪥✨

When did you last replace yours? We recommend a fresh toothbrush (or brush head) every three months — or sooner if the bristles are looking worn. A frayed toothbrush doesn’t clean as effectively and can make it harder to remove the plaque and bacteria that lead to cavities and gum problems.

Remember, brushing 2x/day for 2 minutes is one of the most important steps you can take to keep your smile healthy. A good toothbrush, the right technique, and consistent habits all work together to protect your teeth for years to come. 🦷💙
