Dr. Jaih Christopher Jackson is known to many in the Greater Tampa Bay Area as the first son of Florida Dentistry. This self-proclaimed title reflects his strong family history in the dental profession. Dr. Jackson’s father, Dr. Joseph Cornelius Jackson is an accomplished orthodontist who has been practicing in St. Equally accomplished, Dr. Jackson’s mother, Dr. Tamara Ewell Jackson is a professor

at Temple School of Dentistry. Dr. Jackson attributes his admiration and respect for his profession to his parents. Through their years of hard work and devotion to the practice Dr. Jackson has seen his family help several families. As a result of his parents’ accomplishments Dr. Jackson decided to follow in their footsteps by dedicating his life to providing quality service to those in need. After attending his fathers’ alma mater, Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Jackson received his Dental Degree from his parents’ alma mater, Howard University in 1996; just 27 years after his parents received their degrees. Dr. Jackson returned to his native town of St. Petersburg, Florida in 1997 to practice with his father. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Jackson committed his services to Plant City where he primarily served as a Dentist to migrant workers and other families in the community. In October of 2002, Dr. Jackson opened the American Family Dental Center in Lakewood Ranch. Dr. Jackson describes his office as a community practice where the needs of families come first. Dr. Jackson has a supportive staff and believes much of his success comes from the strength of the community, including his own immediate family. Dr. Jackson is married to his college sweetheart, Kimberly Jackson, a graduate of Stetson University College of Law. The have two young daughters Jordan and Emersen. Dr. Jackson invites the community to visit his practice to experience the specialized care he and his staff give to the American Family.
