Feeling really grateful to have been part of TongueTime 2026 Congress in Switzerland.

I had the opportunity to speak at the congress and contribute to this global clinical consensus, alongside an incredible group of providers who are all deeply committed to improving how we care for our patients.

We’re shifting the conversation from simply “releasing ties” to truly understanding function, collaboration, and whole-body care across the lifespan.

Proud to stand alongside so many clinicians committed to raising the standard of care for our patients.

Honored to be part of this movement and excited for what’s ahead. 🫶🏻

🚨 Collaborative Tongue Tie Care – Global Clinical Consensus 2026

Following the inaugural Tongue Time Congress in St. Gallen, Switzerland, over 600 healthcare professionals from 45 countries came together to shape the future of tongue-tie care.

This statement reflects a shared international clinical consensus on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across the lifespan.

🧠 Key takeaways:

✔️ Tongue tie is a functional condition – not just anatomical
✔️ Interdisciplinary collaboration is essential
✔️ Treatment requires more than release → functional rehabilitation matters
✔️ A whole-body perspective is crucial
✔️ Early identification improves outcomes

📢 This statement provides a foundation for
evidence-informed, patient-centered, and collaborative care worldwide

TongueTime 2026 — Final Day Reflections 🇨🇭

The final day of TongueTime 2026 was nothing short of inspiring. Our panel discussions brought incredible insight from Dr. Shereen Lim, Dr. Eyal Botzer, Tine Greve, and Dr. Justin & Kate Roche, sparking meaningful conversations that truly elevated the dialogue in our field.

We dove into so many great topics, from Advancements in the Functional Approach to Breathing & Sleeping with Dr. Soroush Zaghi, to The Maxillary Frenum Dilemma by Dr. Gina Weissman, Untethering Potential with Dr. Marjan Jones, Craniofacial Maldevelopment with Dr. Scott Wustenberg, and The Fascial Connection with Tom Myers.
I am grateful for the opportunity to present on Minimizing Risk and Overcoming Challenges in Frenectomy Procedures and deeply honored to be counted among such an exceptional group of speakers.

Day 2 at TongueTime 2026 🇨🇭set the bar even higher. A powerful start to the congress with thought-provoking speakers and truly global perspectives.

The morning sessions focused on building global clinical excellence and the importance of creating an international consensus on tongue-tie assessment and treatment across multidisciplinary providers. It was inspiring to see clinicians from different specialties aligning around shared standards, collaboration, and evidence-based care with the goal of improving patient outcomes worldwide.

We also dove into the critical topic of unlocking airway health from infancy, highlighting how early intervention can shape long-term growth, development, and quality of life. The conversations reinforced just how interconnected airway, oral function, and overall health truly are.

Another standout discussion explored how breathing dysfunction and ankyloglossia may contribute to speech and feeding challenges. The clinical insights, research, and real-world cases emphasized the need for early identification, interdisciplinary communication, and thoughtful treatment planning.

This reminds us why forums like TongueTime matter; bringing minds together, challenging conventional thinking, and pushing the field forward toward better standards of care for patients of all ages. Looking forward to what the next sessions will bring!

From hidden treasure to hidden talents - our team had a blast unlocking both!

Our crew traded scrubs for pirate hats and took on The Soul Catcher at Escapology, battling curses, solving clues, and racing against the sunset to escape Captain Goldbeard’s haunted ship.

Just like in our pediatric dental office, every team member had to play their part, communicate clearly, and think outside the box to uncover the treasure.
Whether it’s navigating a cursed ship or a busy day at the office, we rely on each other, a shared mission, and a whole lot of laughs!

Spoiler alert: We escaped with minutes to spare—and came out even stronger as a team!
