Thought I give everyone an update as the governor is letting the stay at home order lapse. We are doing our best to re-open as soon as possible.It looks like we will be back May 26th. I want to make the office as safe as possible for the staff and patients. Getting personal protection equipment has been an absolute nightmare but I finally had success. We should have everything the state has required us to wear mid next week. We will be placing medical grade hyper-hepa filters in the treatment rooms to remove any aerosols generated by our procedures. We will stagger times when patients arrive so we can practice social distancing. We ask that you come alone if possible and wait in your car until we are ready for you. We will do our best to stay on schedule so you don't have to wait. Please wear a mask if you have one, if not we will have one for you. You will have your temperature taken with a no touch thermometer and asked the standard questions about possible exposure. I guess its the new normal so bear with us as we all adjust to it. I am excited to get back to work. I miss it but most of all I miss all my patients. Hope to see everyone soon.

As a reminder we will be closed starting at 5pm tonight. We are planning on re-opening Monday, March 30th at 8am.

The office will be open the following days to take your calls:

Thursday, March 19th from 11am - 3pm
Monday, March 23rd from 9am - 1pm
Wednesday, March 25th from 11 am - 3pm

If you have an appointment in the next 2 weeks we will be reaching out to you to reschedule.

Please call the office (952-890-5450) if you have a dental emergency (or send us a message).

Messages will be checked throughout the closure.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we adapt to this new situation. Thank you for your continued support!

The Minnesota Board of Dentistry and the Minnesota Dental Association have put out their recommendations on how to handle Covid-19 in the dental office. Both have recommended to put off all elective and non essential treatment for 2 weeks. Everyone at Plaza Dental is concerned about their own health and safety and the health and safety of our patients. We feel like we are one big family and want everyone to get through this so, to that end we will be closing the office tomorrow at 5pm. We will plan on re-opening on Monday March 30th. If you have an appointment during that time we contact you by phone to talk about getting rescheduled. If you have a dental emergency arise call the office for directions to get in touch with me so we can figure out the best course of action for treatment. Stay healthy everyone.

The situation can change quickly and we will post updates when available. I plan to be available if any dental emergencies arise. If there is any concern about your health, cough, fever please call the office and reschedule. Stay safe and healthy.
