Vacation plans don't always go as planned, and sometimes neither do braces!

If a bracket comes loose while you're out of town, don't panic. If it's still attached to the wire and not causing discomfort, leave it in place and cover it with orthodontic wax if needed. If it comes completely off, save the bracket if possible and give our office a call when you return.

The most important thing? Avoid hard, crunchy, or sticky foods that could cause additional damage.
