After a root canal, it’s normal for your tooth to feel a little tender while the area heals. Stick with softer foods, avoid chewing on that side until your tooth is fully restored, and follow any instructions from Dr. Parks and Dr. Riley. Mild soreness should improve with time, but swelling, increasing pain, or a bite that feels “off” are all reasons to call us. Healing is part of the process, and we’re here to help make sure your tooth stays protected every step of the way.

Many people delay dental treatment because they are anxious about the procedure or the cost. However, it's important to remember: the longer you delay, the more you pay!

A small cavity that could be treated with a simple filling can progress deeper into the tooth, eventually reaching the nerve and requiring a root canal. And if that infection is left untreated, it can spread to the point where the tooth can no longer be saved, leading to extraction and replacement options.
