One common eruption pattern we watch for is called ECTOPIC ERUPTION. 🦷

What parents might notice:
• Delayed loss of a baby tooth
• A permanent tooth partially visible or coming in crooked
• Crowding or discomfort while chewing

Why Early Monitoring matters:
Some ectopic eruptions can self-correct, while others need early intervention to prevent pain, infection, or damage to nearby teeth. This is why regular checkups and X-rays are so important—we’re monitoring growth long before problems start 💙🪥

It’s all in the picture attached — simple tips that help set your child up for a happy, confident visit. Parents, take a deep breath and relax. Kids feel your energy more than you know!

✨ During the appointment:
We use tell-show-do when needed, along with constant praise and encouragement, to help little ones feel safe and confident every step of the way.

✨ After the visit:
Smiles are celebrated with stickers and prizes — because being brave deserves a reward! 🎉

Milk can be a smile-friendly drink! It’s packed with calcium and phosphorus to help strengthen enamel and support growing teeth.😃
❌BUT milk also contains natural sugars (and flavored milk has added sugar), which can feed cavity-causing bacteria—especially with frequent sipping or before bedtime.

✨ Dental tip: If choosing milk, offer it during mealtime to help sugars break down with food. If milk is given before bed, be sure to brush teeth—or gently wipe gums/teeth with a clean, damp cloth—to keep smiles strong!
