Today we are proud to celebrate Luke, the son of Dr. Schafer and Dave Schafer, on an incredible achievement—graduating from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a minor in Spanish. This milestone reflects years of hard work, creativity, dedication, and perseverance. Through every challenge and opportunity, Luke has continued to grow, learn, and pursue his passions with determination and purpose.
We know this is a particularly meaningful moment for Dr. Jackie Schafer and his family, who have supported and encouraged Luke throughout his journey. Congratulations, Luke, on all that you have accomplished. Your talent, character, and commitment have brought you to this exciting chapter, and we have no doubt that great things lie ahead. Just when you think you've seen it all, three tiny faces pop up from a storm drain and steal the show ( in Dr. Schafer's neighborhood)! What happens when a dental office team member takes a birthday trip to Las Vegas? Plenty of smiles! 😄🎉

My husband and I recently celebrated my birthday with a fun getaway to Las Vegas. It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, recharge, and spend quality time together.

At Colorado Healthy Smiles, we love helping our patients take care of their smiles, but we also know the importance of taking time to celebrate life's special moments. I'm grateful for the memories made and happy to be back serving our amazing patients!

Just returned to Boulder from an amazing medical volunteer trip to Panama with the University of Colorado Boulder chapter of the Global Medical Brigades . Working with 38 pre-med students and a few local healthcare providers, we ran 3 days of healthcare clinics in the rural mountain villages of Sora and El Limite, serving over 300 patients in need of dental or medical care. I was able to do extractions, fillings and cleanings in quite a makeshift environment. It was an amazing experience, very rewarding to be able to help others in this way. I was extremely impressed by the students, each and every one was incredibly thoughtful and knowledgeable…and my husband , Dave Schafer, fluent in Spanish, who was able to lend his services helping with triage, prescriptions (pill counting), checking in patients and education. Overall, a great experience that I am so grateful for 🥰
