“Honestly, the review hype is real.” 🙌
We love a good “guinea pig” success story! 😂💙
Kristy came in, had an incredible experience, and now her husband is signing up too—mission accomplished!

I'd been looking for a new dentist for a while after I moved to Fruitland Park and Heritage Dental kept showing up with tons of great reviews. They also offer an in-house membership plan, which was a nice bonus, so I booked an appointment. Financially these plans IMO make the most sense for those without actual dental insurance.
Honestly, the review hype is real.
When I walked in, there was a chalkboard in the lobby welcoming the day's new patients by name, including mine. It's a small thing but it made me feel expected instead of like just another name on the schedule. Then I got back to the operatory and the screen at my chair also said "Welcome Kristy!" I was already impressed.
Furthermore I had the greatest view during my visit, who doesn't love a fountain.
The dental tech who got me settled pointed out a framed "Comfort Menu" on the wall with things like neck pillows, weighted blankets, eye masks, noise-cancelling headphones, hot or cold beverages, and lemon or lavender facial towelettes. He offered to grab me anything from it. I've never seen anything like that at a dental office. He was also kind, attentive, listened, etc.
My hygienist was honestly one of the best I've ever had. She was gentle, took her time, and explained everything as she went. She didn't rush or make me feel like she was trying to get to the next patient. Just thorough, careful, and genuinely kind. I don't think I've ever said this about a dental cleaning, but I'm actually looking forward to going back.
The office itself is clean and the equipment all looked current. Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk to the dental tech to the doctor, was friendly and seemed to actually enjoy being there. Their tagline is "Compassionate Care From The Heart" and that lined up with my experience.
A couple of heads-ups if you're booking a first visit. The new-patient appointment runs about 90 minutes, which they made very clear when scheduling, so plan accordingly. They told me upfront that they try to do the cleaning the same day as the new-patient exam but sometimes can't, so mine was originally booked for a separate day. A couple of days before my appointment, they called to let me know they could fit the cleaning in same-day after all, which saved me a second trip. I appreciated both the clear expectations on the front end and the flexibility to make the cleaning happen the same day.
I signed up for the membership before I left. My husband grilled me on how the visit went and is now going to sign up as a patient too. Guess it's ok for the wife to be a guinea pig! Ha. If you've been putting off finding a dentist, this is a good place to choose. I had nothing but a positive experience.
