If you’ve been to Merit Dental LaGrange, there’s a good chance you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Kathy! 🦷

Kathy is one of our wonderful Dental Assistants, and she brings so much heart to our office. Whether she’s helping a patient feel a little more comfortable, supporting our team, or simply making us laugh, Kathy is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed.

Outside the office, Kathy is all about her family, her two adorable Frenchies, sports, drag racing, and Jeep life! 🏁🐾🚙

🦷 When is a toothache more than “just a toothache”? 🚨

Dental pain can be tricky—sometimes it’s mild and can wait, but other symptoms may mean you need to be seen sooner rather than later.

Severe or constant pain, facial swelling, fever, an injured or broken tooth, or a bad taste/drainage are all reasons to give your dentist a call right away. ❤️‍🩹

And remember: you never have to figure it out on your own! If something doesn’t feel right, call us. We’re happy to help determine what your next step should be. 💙

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes before you ever sit down in the dental chair! 💙

Between every patient, our team follows infection-control procedures designed to help keep you — and our team — safe.

🧼 Treatment rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between patients.

🦷 Reusable dental instruments go through a multi-step cleaning and sterilization process before they’re used again.

📦 Sterilized instruments are kept packaged until they’re ready for your appointment.

🧤 Gloves and other single-use items are replaced for every patient.

✨ Frequently touched surfaces are cleaned and disinfected regularly throughout the day.

And that’s just some of what happens behind the scenes!

You may only see us getting your room ready, but there’s a whole process happening before you take a seat. Because when you trust us with your smile, your safety matters just as much as your dental care. 💙

🦷 WOULD YOU KNOW IF YOU HAD A CAVITY? 👀

Cavities don’t always hurt — especially in the beginning! Here are a few signs that may mean it’s time to have that tooth checked:

✨ Sensitivity to hot, cold, or sweets
✨ Pain when biting or chewing
✨ A toothache that comes and goes
✨ A dark, brown, or white spot on a tooth
✨ A small pit or hole you can see or feel
✨ Food constantly getting stuck in the same spot

And sometimes? There are no symptoms at all. 😳

That’s one reason regular dental exams and X-rays are so important — catching a cavity while it’s small can mean a much simpler fix!

We’re excited to shine the spotlight on one of the wonderful faces behind our front desk at Merit Dental LaGrange — Lindsey Lemmon! 💙🦷

Lindsey is one of the friendly faces helping our patients from the moment they walk through the door. Whether she’s answering questions, helping with appointments, or simply greeting you with a smile, we’re so happy to have her as part of our team. 💕

When she’s not at the office, Lindsey stays plenty busy as a mom to two daughters! Her favorite things include curling up with a good book 📚, spending time in the kitchen cooking 🍳, and, in her words, “chasing after kids!” 😜

We appreciate everything Lindsey brings to our office and are so lucky to have her as one of our awesome front desk ladies!

The first smile you see when you walk through our doors just might be Natalie’s! 😊

Natalie is one of our wonderful Front Office Coordinators and a valued member of the Merit Dental LaGrange family. She takes great pride in her work and is dedicated to making every patient feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive.

When she’s not at the office, Natalie enjoys spending time with her two children, listening to music, and relaxing by the water. 🌊🎶

Her warm personality, caring heart, and commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience make her an irreplaceable part of our team.
