I absolutely love cases like this—they’re so rewarding and fun for me. This patient needed an implant and crown, but due to bone and space limitations, only one implant was placed for the front right central incisor ( #8). To complete the smile, we made the right lateral incisor ( #7) a pontic attached to the implant crown.

The hardest part? Shaping the tissue to blend beautifully with the natural smile and ensuring we don't have a food trap issue with our pontic and implant restoration. Next, we have to get all these ceramics to look beautiful and naturally crafted. It took the extra care, but seeing it all come together for your smile transformation?

Happy Monday! I love how this smile transformation turned out. It was a rewarding experience to be on this journey with our patient.

This is a full mouth smile makeover involving Invisalign, gum recountouring, an implant, veneers, and crowns. Our patient came wanting help with her health and smile. She had GI problems that were a result of infections in the mouth. After getting her gum and teeth infection eliminated, she immediately felt so much better. Then, we gave her a full and brighter natural smile.

This was such a rewarding case for me because it highlights how important the mouth is connected to our body. I love making sure my patients have a healthy and beautiful smile 😍 😊. This combination of science and art is what I enjoy about my work every day.

An Invisalign case and some magic afterward.

Our patient was looking for a conservtive appoarch to her smile makeover. Invisalign was done to set the teeth straight and correct the deep bite. Then I completed the upper 6 front teeth with composite bonding using Bioclear to repair the abfraction and dark spaces "black triangles" in between teeth, and improve the overall contour of these teeth.

The advantage of composite bonding here is that we can be so conservative by not prepping down any healthy tooth structure. Lots of time spent on polishing these teeth until it was glassy smooth.

Whether the material is ceramics or composite, my goal is to always mimic nature in its best form.

side note: the upper photos was taken with a ring flash and the bottom photos was taken with dual flashes. The dual flashes can give much more details. Just look at those gingival tissue!

1 implant, 5 veneers. Can you guess which one is the implant crown?

Patient had a missing tooth that was replace with an implant along with bone graft and connective tissue by our periodontist, Dr. Chris Peterson.

Once the implant has intergrated, I recontoured the tissue around the implant to achieve proper gum support and aesthetic for the final crown. A temporary implant crown was done and monitored until the tissue has perfectly healed and ready for the final stage. Check out the papilla! Also, no food trap issue here.

Minimally prepped veneers and final implant crown completed.
