February is the National month for Children’s Dental Health! Last week, Haley spent the afternoon talking about teeth to some of the sweetest kids at a local preschool. They learned all about keeping the cavity bugs away and the importance of brushing our teeth! 🦷

Thats Cedar Bluff about an hour or two ago. I can't believe it, but we will have to cancel for Wednesday too! I've been out and around. While some areas are OK ish, many are still treacherous and all were wet making ice almost certain and too much danger for patients and staff. This has never happened in my entire career to be out three days for snow! We will be in touch with all who had appointments as soon as possible.
Those I have spoken with have been very gracious and we are very appreciative for you all. So sorry for any inconvenience.

We are really bummed to have to do this, but we expect Tuesday will likely be as bad or worse than today. So, we will be closed Tuesday 1/16/24 hoping to re open Wednesday if conditions permit. Hope y'all are all safe and comfy!

Our hygienist Heather Roberts and her husband nominated Dr. Woodall to be recognized as a “Patriotic Employer” for his support of the Roberts family through Heather’s husband’s deployments over the years. As a member of Dr. Woodall’s staff, we feel blessed to have such a caring and accommodating doctor to work for!

This past weekend, Dr. Woodall was honored by the Tennessee Academy of General Dentistry as the Dentist of the Year for 2023! We always knew he was the best, and now he has a trophy to show for it!

Chewing bubble gum is one of our patients’ favorite things to do! As a dental practice, you know we have to weigh in on this.😁 Here are a few tips for chewing gum:
🦷 Choose sugar-free gum. Be sure to look for ingredients like xylitol or sorbitol.
⏰ Limit chewing time. Excessive gum chewing could increase your risk of developing TMJ issues.
🪥Supplement but don’t substitute with gum. This is a reminder to still brush and floss your teeth regularly.
