Did you know there is a large misconception about the importance of baby teeth? Many people believe that they do not need to be cared for the same way as our permanent teeth because “they are just going to fall out”. There are many reasons to keep them just as healthy!
•Good brushing habits at a young age carry over as we get older.
• Cavities (regardless of age) can still cause a lot of pain and even infection.
•Cavities on baby teeth left untreated will spread to permanent teeth.

How can we protect them? Daily brushing and flossing as well as encouraging water throughout the day!
