Jacob came a long way—and the finishing touches made all the difference it✨
Throughout treatment we focused on developing and broadening his arches to create a fuller, more balanced smile.
Jacob’s upper canines (the “fang teeth”) were headed in the wrong direction and a little towards the roof of his mouth🙊
After creating space we were able to encourage the teeth in the right direction, but with that direction change, the canines brought a little too much gum tissue with it 👎
By evening out the gum line and refining the shape of his teeth we were able to enhance symmetry and let his smile truly shine 😄
It’s those small details that take a great result to the next level 🔥 Congrats Jacob-this one was fun 🙌

✨Smile Transformation✨
When Rebekah finished braces her smile wasn’t quite without distraction just yet!

Her teeth, “the WHITE stuff,” had wear and tear from throughout the years that had slowly accumulated.

Her gum line, the “PINK stuff,” was uneven, and made some of her teeth appear small, disproportionate, & asymmetric in certain critical areas of her smile.

The FIX: Hard and Soft Tissue Contouring It
Hard Tissue Contouring is when the enamel (outer layer) of the teeth is manicured and polished to achieve each tooth’s ideal shape and establish symmetry from left to right.
Soft Tissue Contouring involves lifting excess gum tissue, unmasking the full form of each individual tooth and maximizing the amount of “White Stuff” we see when we smile. 😀
Both procedures pair beautifully to put that cherry on top after a successful orthodontic treatment! 🍒
