Born and raised in South Knoxville, Anna has been part of the South Knox Dental family since she was just 10 years old—now coming full circle as a valued member of our team. With a true passion for dental hygiene, she graduated last year and is excited to begin caring for the community she’s always called home.

Outside the office, Anna enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her two cats, Maggie and Remy.

April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month and at South Knox Dental, we’re here to do more than care for your smile—we’re here to protect your health.

Oral cancer can be life-threatening if not caught early, which is why routine screenings are so important. Be aware of common warning signs, including:
• Persistent mouth sores that don’t heal
• Lumps or thickened areas in the mouth or throat
• Red or white patches
• Difficulty chewing, swallowing, or moving your jaw
• Chronic sore throat or hoarseness

Prevention starts with simple, everyday choices:
• Avoid to***co products
• Limit alcohol consumption
• Wear lip protection with SPF
• Maintain good oral hygiene
• Visit your dentist regularly for exams and screenings
