Due to inclement weather and road conditions, our office will be closed today to ensure the safety of our staff and patients. We will reopen on Monday, February 24th to normal business hours. If you had an appointment scheduled with us today, we will be in contact with you next week to reschedule. We hope everyone has a safe and fun snow day!

Introducing Carol & Katie- our office EFDA's! ✨

What is an EFDA??

• An Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) is a dental assistant who has received additional training and certification to perform some dental procedures that are usually done by a dentist.

Both Carol and Katie attended the University of Tennessee's EFDA program offered by their College of Dentistry to obtain restorative functions- meaning they both have extensive training to place composite fillings! 🦷

Next time you need a filling at our office, you may just get the chance to be their patient! 😎✨

Today we want to showcase our fabulous RDH, Mirada! ✨
Mirada was born and raised in Kingsport. She graduated from ETSU'S Dental Hygiene program in 2012, and has worked for Dr. Hagan for one year. She is married with three children and two dogs.
Fun fact: Mirada loves camping, kayaking, fishing, and going to the beach! 🌊 One of Mirada's favorite things about her job as a hygienist, is making her patients with dental anxiety feel at ease.

We think she is pretty special! Remember to thank her for all of her hard work to keep your smile healthy at your next dental cleaning! ✨🦷

Did you know that October is National Dental Hygiene Month? 🦷🪥
During this month we promote the importance of oral health and celebrate our awesome hygienists who work hard to educate their patients on why maintaining their oral health is crucial to their overall well-being and the risks that are associated with gum disease.

Today's spotlight is on our amazing RDH, Ashly! ✨

Ashly was born in Kansas and raised in Chattanooga Tennessee. Ashly graduated from ETSU's Dental Hygiene program in 2011 and has worked for Dr. Hagan for two years. She is married with four children and 2 dogs! Fun fact: Ashly loves Dunkin Donuts Coffee and has a sweet tooth! 🍭 Ashly loves promoting good oral hygiene practices to her patients every day!

teeth. The best way to protect your teeth is to make sure you routinely brush your teeth. Just make sure to
give your teeth at least 30 minutes to recover after drinking sodas, fruit juices, and any other acidic beverages.
