We had a fun day at the dental office today. We all had special green shirts to honor St. Patrick’s day. The grand-moms had shirts that said they were a grand mom. Every one enjoyed having the shirts.

Here is a little background for the article.
The goal for this year’s Give Day was $125,000. The generous gifts were coming in and the Y was over $100,000 by late afternoon. King George Board member Dr. Wendy Moore, local homebuilder and “Y Supporter,” Allen West, along with Regional Y Board Member Mike Turner all made gifts later in the day totaling over $35,000 to push the Y past their goal. By early Wednesday morning, the Y had raised over $175,000 due to the support and generosity of the citizens of the Planning District 16.

Wow! This is what it is like to work in a small-town environment like King George! This week two patient ladies brought in some goodies, after being so happy about their visits to see Dr. Wendy and the staff. One lady brought in two really delicious homemade coconut cream pies. The second lady brought in the most delicious variety of cookies.

The lovely ladies that work at Dr. Wendy's are a happy group and most of them have been working together for many years. A happy established staff is such a blessing every person who visits our office.
