🚨 The biggest lie in dentistry: “If my teeth don’t hurt, I’m fine.”

We hear this all the time:
“My teeth feel fine, so I don’t really need a checkup.” 👀

But here’s the thing - many dental problems can develop without causing pain in the beginning.

🦷 Cavities can start small and grow before you ever feel sensitivity.
🦷 Gum disease can progress quietly, sometimes without obvious discomfort.
🦷 Small cracks or worn-down teeth may not hurt until the damage becomes more significant.
🦷 Early problems are often much easier to manage than problems that have been left untreated.

And when pain finally shows up, it can sometimes mean the problem has already progressed.

Think of your dental checkup as prevention, not just treatment. Your dentist can look for things you may not be able to see or feel yourself and help you stay ahead of potential problems.
