To our patients and friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I am writing to let you know that part of our Acworth Family Dentistry family could use your support and prayers. Stephanie has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She and her doctors have a plan in place, her treatment started and she has begun to bravely fight this terrible disease. We know Stephanie is way more than the friendly face that has welcomed you all to our office for over 17 years. She has become a friend to many of you too.

However, we kindly ask that you refrain from your kind and overwhelming urge to express your sympathy within our office and during your appointment. Stephanie would like to focus on your care and individual needs, as well as maintaining her composure. As you can imagine, she is very emotional at this time.

Stephanie is grateful for all the love, support, kind words, and prayers she has received from those who already know. We know many of you would also like to express your support, say kind words or offer her a prayer as they are truly helping her through this difficult battle. If it is on your heart to do so, we encourage you to write her a note while you wait. We will provide notecards for you if you choose. Leave them in the basket provided. Stephanie will read them outside of the office in the quiet of her home.
