An update about COVID-19 from Dr. Alan Ross

Dear Friends,

It is with great enthusiasm that Keene Family Dental will resume our normal schedule on May 26, 2020. COVID-19 has affected everything, but with new technology and procedures your dental visit will remain safe and comfortable.

I have always operated Keene Family Dental with the newest and most helpful technology. We remain unconditionally committed to quality as we continue to provide personal attention and individual solutions to your situation.

The following is a partial list of the technology, equipment and procedures being used to insure safety:
• Negative air exhaust systems – The aerosol from dentistry is collected, filtered and vented outside.
• Air purification – 4 stage HEPA filtration with ultraviolet disinfection to inactivate viruses.
• New, more powerful dental vacuums with the ability to isolate each tooth.
• UV-A (ultraviolet) disinfection – All surfaces are chemically treated and disinfected then exposed to this special wavelength of Ultra Violet Radiation. Some Hospitals have been using this system to control MRSA, Tuberculosis, and now COVID-19.
• Additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) – Please wear your mask when ever you are not being treated. We will gladly give you a fresh disposable surgical mask.

o My team and I will be wearing our enhanced PPE outfits. This includes N95, face shield, and surgical gown.
o Please use our hand sanitizer station when you check in at the front desk.
o We are going to minimize the number of patients in the office at one time. The waiting area is closed….but we always try not to keep you waiting. If needed the receptionist will ask you to wait in your car and she will signal you when ready.

These items represent my commitment to continue as the community’s leading quality dental practice. While most still don’t look forward to dentistry, your visit to Keene Family Dental will remain safe, comfortable and never rushed.

We are still open, but are seeing emergency patients only. If you are in pain or feel you have a dental emergency, please call our office (603 357-6767).

Dentists will continue to perform emergency procedures during the coronavirus pandemic, but they are asking people to be patient when it comes to other types of visits in an effort to keep people out of already swamped hospitals.
