A pre-med student at the University of Nebraska, Jordyn has spent the past few summers (and school breaks!) learning, working, and caring for patients right alongside our team.

She is smart, kind, dependable, and always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed—and we’ve been so lucky to have her as part of Sandhills.

We love getting a front-row seat as these incredible students work toward what’s next. Jordyn, we can’t wait to see where medicine takes you! 🩺✨

✨ Immediate implant. Immediate temporary tooth. A newly restored smile—all in a matter of hours. ✨

Dr. Weber placed this patient’s dental implant and immediately began the process of restoring her smile through Sandhills Implant Laboratory.

While she recovered, Sara was busy at work in our in-house lab—designing and fabricating a temporary tooth customized specifically for her.

✨ Just a few hours later, it was seated and she was headed home with a beautiful new smile…just in time for dinner.

🎓 College kids, signing off. 🤍 Part 1: Syler Steffen

Before Jordyn + Syler head back to school, Brenden sat them down for one very important exit interview. 🎤😂

We’re so grateful for the energy, curiosity, hard work, and fun they bring to Sandhills. It’s pretty special getting to watch incredible young people learn, grow, and pursue careers in healthcare — and we have a feeling they are just getting started.

Good luck this year, Syler! We’ll be cheering you on from Sandhills. And don’t worry… Brenden is holding down the fort.

POV: Our guy who helps care for patients every day takes his turn in the chair. 💙

Syler is one of our amazing college interns, and this week it was his turn for wisdom tooth surgery.

One of the greatest compliments we can receive is when one of our own trust us with their care.

(Also… yes, he still carried his tray to sterilization after surgery. 😂 Although, we did give him the afternoon off.)
