We LOVE a Phase 1 transformation! 🦷✨
This patient started with a significant underbite, crowding, and limited space for his developing permanent teeth. In just about one year of early orthodontic treatment, we corrected his bite and created the space needed for his permanent teeth to develop and erupt properly.
The goal of Phase 1 treatment isn’t simply to straighten teeth — it’s to address developing orthodontic concerns early and help set a child up for success as they grow. 💙
This is why the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children have their first orthodontic evaluation by age 7. An early evaluation allows an orthodontist to identify concerns like underbites, crowding, and insufficient space and determine whether early treatment would be beneficial.

Dr. Shivani is officially on maternity leave, soaking up all the newborn cuddles with her sweet baby boy! 👶🏻💙

While we’ll definitely miss seeing her around the office (and apparently, Dr. Jaanki is already missing her 😂), we’re so happy she gets this special time at home with her newest little addition.

In the meantime, Dr. Jaanki and the amazing PFO team are holding down the fort. 💕
