Welcome to our website and dental practice. We hope you find plenty of information here about our office and our services. In 1979, Dr. Tommy Harrison and Dr. Gary Garrison, lifelong friends from Temple, Texas, born just 3 days apart, opened the doors to a new dental practice at the corner of Fry Road and the Katy Freeway. The two new doctors had decided to go into practice together, considering t

he high cost of setting up. After 27 years at that location, the practice was moved to a new, more modern office on Kingsland in 2005. As their families grew and interests outside the office changed, their partnership always remained great. In 2005, Dr. Garrett Bethke joined the practice as an associate for both doctors. A patient of the practice since he was 10 years old, Dr. Bethke fulfilled his dream of running a practice, when in March of 2007, Dr Bethke took over for Dr. Garrison. Dr. Garrison moved to the hill country, and opened a new practice with his son Austin. December 2010, Dr. Garrison officially retired. Over the next 29 years, Dr. Bethke and Dr. Harrison hope to continue their partnership based on the same family values and principles that have helped the practices grow through the years. The booming Katy population and economy through the years have been and continue to be paramount to their success. Dr. Harrison and Dr. Bethke are pleased to have the expertise of Dr. Miranda Torrey, who joined our practice in 2010 and Dr. RT "Cade" Foust, who provides oral surgery procedures for the practice.

Another Texas Dental Association (TDA) Legislative Day took place yesterday in Austin. I provided transportation to and from the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry (UTSD) for the two dental students who are in this photo. Jackson Valencia is a DS4 (far left) while Maryam Baldawi is a DS2 (far right). Among other legislators, we visited Hugh Shine who is my longtime friend and represents the fine citizens of Central Texas in the Temple, Belton, Killeen area (House District 55). It was Jackson and Maryam’s first TDA Legislative Day and my 21st.

So many mixed feelings. We are sad and yet excited for Dr. Harrison. Attached is his official retirement letter. He has decided to retire from restorative dentistry, but will remain in the office performing hygiene exams until November. Help us in celebrating this incredible dentist!
