Can you believe we've been in our new office for nearly 17 years? Guess we can't really even use the word "new" anymore. It feels like less than 10 years ago that we built this place and made it the home of our dental practice. We have been painting recently to keep it looking its best. Shout out today for the painting vendor I have been using. He has done a fine job. He is a conscientious, steady and quiet worker. P.S. Our brick building was also power washed this year and apparently we forgot the brick on the dumpster enclosure. Only realized it once we had the newly painted gates. One thing leads to another doesn't it?

This valued employee has joined the 20-year club. She started developing meaningful relationships with our patients from her very first day back in 2002. Charisse mirrors our doctors caring concern for each patient’s needs as she helps them navigate such things as treatment plans, insurance benefits, and scheduling conflicts. She goes the extra mile whenever it’s needed to get the job done and get it done right. Many patients ask for her by name because they know she is adept at understanding their needs quickly. She is always gracious and treats every patient with dignity, respect, and genuine concern. Charisse is one of the big reasons why patients choose our practice for their dental home. We are so grateful to have her as one of our key employees. Though she’ll be changing her last name from Guidry to Noble through marriage next month, her dedication to our patients will stay the same. This week provides a cause for celebration for us at Crabtree Dental because exactly 30 years ago Wednesday Daroma Brown joined our staff. Dentistry isn’t just about the science of teeth and gums, it’s also about the individual relationship we build with our patients and for many that relationship lasts a lifetime. Daroma has seen a lot over her three decades of service in our Katy Dental practice. Not only has she tended to the dental hygiene needs of our patients, but she has also connected with many of them on a personal level. Her gentle manner and caring nature have made her beloved and consequently she is one of our most preferred dental hygienists. Dr. and Kristy Crabtree are hosting a staff lunch on her behalf and providing an extra week of vacation to express our appreciation to her. We’re grateful to have her continue to serve the needs of our patients for more years to come. For the second year, Crabtree Dental sponsored a hole and participated in the Wendy Kwan Memorial Golf Tournament. Drs. Ron Crabtree and Colby Crabtree enjoyed a great day of golf with their team for a good cause.

The tournament honors Wendy Kwan, a young mother who passed away unexpectedly in 2014 from an undetected brain aneurysm. The funds raised through the tournament provide support and scholarships for brain injury victims and their families. Learn more about the cause at https://youfirstfoundation.org/.
