John Freeman, MD, DDS, FACS, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon providing high-quality surgical care to adults and children living in and around Katy, Texas, and throughout Harris County. Dr. Freeman earned his dental degree with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City. After graduation, Dr. Freeman obtained his medical degree from the Vanderbi
lt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. Before entering private practice, Dr. Freeman completed a general surgery residency and maxillofacial surgery training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, also in Nashville. He has earned multiple awards, including honors for excellence in research and clinical work. He performs multiple facial cosmetic surgeries that include cutting-edge operative techniques and up-to-date equipment, allowing quicker recoveries and reduced side effects. One of Dr. Freeman’s passions is facial reconstruction utilizing advanced technology to perform bone reconstruction and grafting, placement of dental implants, and teeth-in-a-day. Dr. Freeman is on hospital staff at the world-renowned Houston Methodist Hospital and West Houston Methodist Hospital. He takes emergency calls for the hospital and routinely performs surgical procedures there; however, most of Dr. Freeman’s surgeries are performed in an in-office facility. Dr. Freeman attends continuing education courses worldwide to be exposed to the latest oral and facial reconstruction techniques. Dr. Freeman enjoys spending time with his wife and children when not with patients. He is active in the Katy and Houston community and welcomes anyone seeking to put their best face forward.
