🦷 Before & After: Treating Enamel Discoloration

Some tooth discolorations aren’t caused by staining—they can actually be part of the enamel itself and present from the time the tooth erupts. Because of this, traditional whitening alone may not fully correct the appearance.

In this case, we started with in-office GLO whitening to brighten the overall smile. Then, Dr. Jackson used our Solea laser to precisely remove the discolored portion of enamel in a conservative, comfortable way—without the need for a traditional drill.

The area was then restored with a tooth-colored composite material, carefully matched and shaped to blend seamlessly with the natural tooth.

This type of minimally invasive treatment allows us to improve both the color and structure of the tooth while preserving as much healthy enamel as possible.

If you have spots or discoloration that haven’t responded to whitening, there are advanced treatment options available. We’re happy to discuss options with you! ✨
